I came to the conclusion recently- really, after thinking about Kiki Smith's new retrospective at the Whitney Museum- that Kiki Smith is the Sarah Brightman of the Art World. Or maybe Sarah Brightman is the Kiki Smith of music. Either way, you are welcome to read whatever further insights you want to from this comparison. I don't feel that any added commentary on my part is necessary. Now the question is, who is the Andrea Bocelli of the Art World?
